What is a provocation?
Provocation is incitement, performed to call for a predictable response, or actions that are supposed to entail severe consequences for the object of provocation.
Provocation also can be called aggressive actions, carried out in order to entail a military conflict. This, as a rule, is an armed provocation.
In addition, provocation is still a medical term. It means an action that leads to a painful or allergic condition, an artificial stimulation of the symptoms of the disease.
The most common example of the use of the word"Provocation" in the sentence "Do not succumb to provocation". It means not responding to incitement, ignoring it. And the phrase "arrange a provocation" means just inciting someone, usually in relation to a group of people.
