We protect the house from external natural influences
Nakat In order to protect the exterior walls from the influence of the external environmental conditions, various types of exterior decoration of the building are used. The most common finish is simple flat plastering, you need to make a strong cement mortar, and then throw it on the wall of the building with further leveling. The last stage of such work is rubbing with a grating wall surface.
To give such a home a fancy look, various types of finishes are used, for example, reel. The building for this is divided into separate fragments, where the future drawing is located. To do this, cut a wooden bar 2 cm in thickness and attached to the wall along the contour where the drawing will be located. Bars will guide the surface of the future finish. Then you need to pick up the color of the stone chips (gray, red, white) and dunk. Between the bars on the area of the future ornament make a strong mortar thrust.Next, you need to put it on the desired color of the stone, pressing it into the rule of the solution. At the end of this work, you need to remove the bars from the walls and make the jointing in their place.
Waterproofing. To protect the walls of the house from the influence of external natural phenomena, as well as the penetration of moisture, use special waterproofing materials. If you plan to build a house of stone or brick, then in order to ensure a healthy climate in it, you need to lay a waterproofing layer on the upper part of the basement, that is, at a height of 50-70 cm.
Different materials are used for waterproofing the house:
- the most effective is bitumen and a variety of mastic from it. For waterproofing with this material, the heated mass must be applied to the surface with a spatula in several layers, to obtain a layer of 1 cm;
- Another method is to apply heated bitumen on the surface and apply a layer of roofing material or tar to it (without stone and sandy sprinkles). This layer needs to be covered with preheated bitumen, and then stick another layer of roofing felt or roofing felt;
- put a roofing sheet or roofing felt in two layers on a dry, smooth and flat surface of the basement floor, thus blocking the joints;
- a cement mortar is applied on the surface, about 3 cm in thickness in a ratio of 1: 2, then it is leveled and covered with a dry layer of cement 3 mm in thickness. All this needs to be dried and put a layer of roofing material or roofing material.
