RIA Novosti on Tuesday brought information to the senior assistant prosecutor of Komi, Natalia Spiridonova, that the prosecutor's office of the city of Ukhta (Komi Republic) was behind the lighting of stairwells.
According to the senior assistant prosecutor, the prosecutor's office of Ukhta conducted an inspection on the appeal of residents of multi-storey buildings because of the unjustified accruals by the management organizations of payments for the coverage of places intended for public use in multi-storey buildings. The prosecutor's office established that the organizations of OJSC Komi Energy Retail Company and MUP Common House entered into an agency agreement,according to which, from the first of April of the past year, Komi Energy Sales Company JSC transferred the functions of accrual and billing for consumed electricity bills and receipts.
Natalya Spiridonova reported that in the course of the audit, it was revealed that MUP "Common House" for five months included in the payment for the maintenance of common property the cost of electricity spent on lighting places intended for general use. Five months this service was paid by residents in double size. These violations were identified in ninety apartment buildings in the city of Ukhta. The total amount that was illegally accrued by the company by citizens was about 1.2 million rubles.
The interlocutor of the agency clarified that the results of the audit were sent by the prosecutor of Ukhta to the management of the MUP Common House company. They were required to recalculate, which by then had been executed in full.
