The attic roof is a structure made of laminated rafters, or instead of them there may be rafters hanging, called rafter trusses. Suspended rafters are usually installed on the roofs of houses on one floor where there is an average load-bearing wall.
On the one hand, the support for the rafters is an outer wall, and on the other - a stand mounted above the supporting wall. If necessary, you can install and hanging rafters, if should be blocked spans of large sizes from 5 to 9 meters, without the use of additional supports. Truss structures must necessarily have a tightening, in other words, a lower belt, which will protect against lateral spread caused by rafters, roofs, snow, etc., pressing on it.
Sloped stows should be supported by braces, if the width of the house is large enough. Diagonal and short truss legs on the rafters are placed in places where the hips are located.
Suspended rafters can be in the shape of a triangle and consist of two truss legs, a bolt or tightening, if the span is small. But for large spans for hanging trusses require suspension. The rafters are tightened with two elements that are connected by bolts and linings. Racks, runs and struts provide longitudinal stability of rafters. And subrafter racks are strengthened with special linings. The legs of the rafters are reinforced with wire twists to crutches embedded in the wall.
Modular design. Roof designs can be of different types. The simplest and most effective type of construction is modular, for a sloping roof. This type of design is suitable for both small houses and large ones. Even if the roof is built on a large structure, you can do without special equipment.
Going to the roof in parts. Cutting boards with a cross section of 25 * 100 will form the basis for the manufacture of side sections of the attic. First you need to prepare the runs with ogrugannyh side faces. Then the lower rafters are harvested according to the pattern. After that, the runs are nailed to the ends of the lower rafters. These boards are used in the assembly of the upper parts of the supporting structure.
Cut out the details of the template are fastened with thick plywood.Rafters and puffs needed reinforcing pillars, which are nailed to them in the lining.
Modules are assembled in stages. First of all, the side sections are raised and temporarily fixed, after the top frames are raised, which thoroughly connect the side sections. In order for the supporting structure to have a predetermined position, an axial beam, called a girder, must be nailed to the gable frames, or rather to the lower edges of their puffs. And intermediate frames are attached to it with braces. At the end, the roof frame must be reinforced with the help of uprights of vertical walls. Then sheets of plywood are nailed to the rafters, which make it possible to remove temporary supports, including the girder.
