Moscow intends to attract investors to the construction of roads that are not included in the AIPSeptember 20, 2017
The Moscow authorities have planned to intensify the process of the Road Fund, where investors are investing.
Through the Road Fund, the authorities intend to implement projects related to the construction of roads that were recently postponed on the basis of changes to the capital’s targeted investment program (AIP), told Marat Hasnullin at the Moscow forum of real estate market favorites, which was organized by Vedomosti, Deputy Mayor for Construction and Urban Policy.
Up to this point, the capital authorities adopted the AIP for the period from 2014 to 2016. In September, the head of the capital’s economic development and policy department, Maxim Reshetnikov, saidthat within the specified time period, funding for road construction will be reduced. At the same time, according to his information, the amount allocated for the development of engineering, transport and social infrastructure of the capital will actually be increased by 15 percent (1,129 trillion rubles), which is justified by the 2014-2016 AIP.
Khusnullin noted: “We have quite seriously launched the mechanism of action of the Road Fund. As a result of protests of residents of the capital, and, moreover, on the basis of a certain inconsistency with the Moscow region on the issues of carrying out reconstruction on highways, the timing of the construction of roads in Moscow, according to the address-investment program, it became necessary to move for more realistic terms.
