In Moscow there is a problem of military campsMay 25, 2016
Temporary I.O. Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyev, not so long ago, received an offer from the Minister of Housing and Utilities of the Moscow Region to hold a joint meeting with the Minister of Defense to discuss the urgent problem of military camps located in the region. Vorobyov supported the initiative, and scheduled a meeting at the beginning of December.
All military camps are owned by the Ministry of Defense. They are served by two companies: REU and OJSC Slavyanka, and it is to them that the administration of the Moscow region makes big complaints. We are talking about fairly large debts that amount to more than 750 million rubles and continue to increase.
The Minister of Housing and Communal Services of the Moscow Region noted that Dmitry Medvedev, while serving as president, visited one military camp and set a goal at the end of the visit - all military camps to be transferred should be ready for winter. But the towns at the moment are not ready for wintering, and this fact is of great concern. Now on the balance of the region there are 24 military camps.
According to the Minister of Housing and Communal Services of the Moscow region Elyanushkina, it is planned to offer the new Minister of Defense to create dispatch services that will work in the department of Shoigu for more efficient work. All military camps located in the Moscow Region will be transferred as property: infrastructure, residential buildings, etc. This does not apply to roads and various types of networks, they remain on the balance of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
