On the eve it became known that in the suburban area called Myanikinskaya floodplain a new Moscow helicopter center opened. To date, the center is designed for 25 helicopters. Thus, Moscow can become one of the largest helicopter centers in Europe.
Alexander Khrustalev, who holds the position of CEO of NDV-Real Estate, announced that the new center is located 700 meters from the Moscow Ring Road. Its area is almost 30 thousand square meters, and the building area is 10 thousand square meters. Thus, the new complex is designed for 200 units of small aircraft. According to the CEO, in the near future a unique infrastructure will be available, which includes the country's largest air show, a yacht club with a pier-pier complex, a 4-star hotel, an entertainment center with a concert platform and a restaurant.
Khrustalev also adds that the construction of facilities will begin in the middle of next year and will end in a year.
German Elyanyushkin, who holds the post of deputy chairman of the Moscow region, said that the emergence of a new helicopter center in the Moscow region will make the area more attractive for both Russian citizens and tourists.
It is worth noting that more than $ 100 million was invested in the construction of the new helicopter terminal. The new facility will be available for both private flights and for the Emergencies Ministry helicopters, the Federal Security Service and the Ministry of Interior. Experts also report that it will be possible to get to Sheremetyevo airport in just 5 minutes from the new Moscow helicopter center, and the price of a ticket will be about 2 thousand rubles.
