Greeting cards to Purim in Hebrew
Good day! Our site offers you beautiful greetings for the Purim holiday in Russian and Hebrew. As well as beautiful greeting cards and equally fun and holiday cards in Hebrew.
There are four basic commandments of the Purim festival.
- First, in the morning and in the evening the “Scroll of Esther” (part of the Holy Letter) is read, describing everything that happened, and when the name Aman is pronounced, those present make a loud noise, stamping their feet or striking the gregger - “Aman's beater”.
- Secondly, on this holiday, acquaintances and friends send each other treats (at least two dishes).
- In fulfillment of the third commandment (about gifts to the poor), at least two of those in need are served money or food, which should be enough for at least one modest meal.
- And the fourth commandment concerns the Purim meals and fun that accompanies them. Several times during the day, families gather at tables with a rich treat (triangular-shaped shortcake pastry with poppy and jam filling, called “Aman’s ears”) and alcohol are required, intended mainly for men.
